Temporary Retirement Category

Temporary Retirement Category

If you want to spend some time in New Zealand, are over the age of 65 with the investment funds required, this may be the best visa for you.

The Temporary Retirement Category is a special visitor visa designed for those who are 66 or older, want to spend some of their retirement in New Zealand and can invest at least NZ$750,000.

Successful applicants will receive a two-year multiple entry visitor’s visa that allows travel in and out of New Zealand. The visa is renewable indefinitely as long as the applicant meets the requirements. To find out more about what you need for this visa, click here.
