If you want to live and play in New Zealand, you’re likely to want to find a job. You may be able to find one in seasonal work or hospitality, or in an area you are already skilled in. It's always easier to look for work once you get your feet on the ground in New Zealand. For example, if you're coming over on a Working Holiday, you may have more success finding a job after making face-to-face contact with employers.

Make sure you have a current Curriculum vitae (CV) or resume (Check out www.cv.co.nz or SEEK.co.nz for some helpful tips)
Do lots of research. The more you know the better, right?
See each contact in New Zealand as a networking opportunity. Kiwis are very helpful, and they will pass your name along to others if they believe you have something to offer – you never know!
