FAQs

Is this visa right for me?

The answer is yes if you:

  • Have the funds required to invest NZ$1 million over four years in a New Zealand investment
  • Meet the family requirement that half or more of your children are in New Zealand as citizens or residents
  • Have an annual income of at least NZ$60,000

I don’t meet the family requirement but I still want to invest in New Zealand. What should I do?

The Temporary Retirement Visa allows those age 66 or over who plan to invest NZ$750,000 or more to come to New Zealand for two years. For other visa options that may be right for you, look into our Business Migration Categories. There are also opportunities to invest in New Zealand without a visa. With one of the most open economies in the world, New Zealand offers ample opportunities for investors on or off shore. Visit InvestmentNow to find out more.
