Visas are granted initially for 9 months to allow you to set up your business, with a further 27 months granted after submitting evidence demonstrating it has been established.

No. Your application will be assessed on a number of points, including proof that you have relevant business experience and that you have a realistic business plan.
How much money will I need to bring into New Zealand to qualify?
You’ll need to provide evidence you have enough capital to finance your business proposal as well as sufficient funds to provide for your accommodation and ongoing needs.
How long is this visa granted for?
Initially, 9 months but a further 27 months is granted once you have transferred your investment capital through the trading bank system and have established your business.
