Is this visa right for me?
The answer is yes, if you:

  • Have NZ $10 million to invest over a three year period
  • Plan on spending 20% (73 days) or more of each of the three calendar years in New Zealand

What do I need to invest in?
You can invest in equity and/or bonds in New Zealand.
You are not able to invest in residential property or bank deposits.  For more information about qualifying investments, click here.

Are there other qualifications I need to meet for the Investor Plus visa?
Once your application has been approved in principle, you’ll have 12 months to transfer and invest your funds in New Zealand. If needed, you may apply during that period to extend the transfer period.

How long is the visa granted for?
This is a permanent visa, allowing multiple entry into New Zealand.

Are there any age restrictions for this visa?
No.
