Key contacts

New Zealand businesses and Government are united in their desire to seek more overseas investment, and there are a number of private and publicly operated organisations you can contact for help.

Government agencies particularly work collaboratively in smoothing the way for investors.

Using these networks and resources will put you in touch with experts who can tell you more about New Zealand, suggest opportunities, advise on assistance and incentives, and help make things happen.

We’ve split these organisations into three groups:

  • Business networks
  • Regional organisations
  • Government agencies

Additional support

Immigration New Zealand is a useful contact for additional support with visa and investment issues. Contact our Client Manager at investors@mbie.govt.nz.

Another important contact is New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE), the Government’s investment agency.

NZTE has offices around the world with investment specialists who can offer market insights and business introductions. To find their nearest office or a specialist in the industry you’re considering, visit NZTE.

For general information about investment options and visas, register your interest. Give us a few details and we’ll send you information relevant to your particular needs and interests.
