Your application must be submitted online through Immigration New Zealand’s online system. The annual quota for the visa is 300 and resets every year on 27 April. Once the quota is met, there will not be new spaces released. However, it’s worth checking back in case applicants submitted have cancelled or been declined.

Evidence of your funds can be shown with bank statements, travellers’ cheques or credit card statement showing sufficient credit. Statements must be in your name and show your own funds. The minimum amount required is NZ$4,200.
If your qualification is not on the List of Qualifications Exempt from Assessment, you will need to provide a New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) Assessment with your application. If your field of employment requires occupational registration in New Zealand, you must show that you hold, or can obtain registration for that occupation in New Zealand.
You must meet the health and character requirements applicable to people who intend to stay in New Zealand for at least 24 months.
