If your Expression of Interest is accepted, you will be sent an Invitation to Apply for Residence in New Zealand; you will give evidence for your claims in your application.

You do not need to send supporting documentation with your Expression of Interest form -- however you will need that evidence if you receive an Invitation to Apply for Residence in New Zealand.
